Gotham comes to South East London

London's eastward development has taken another step forward with the news that work has begun on a 147-metre high tower, which will serve as the dramatic centrepiece for the regeneration of the Elephant & Castle.

Demolition of the existing building on site has begun, paving the way for builders Multiplex to begin construction.

The Elephant & Castle is being transformed through a major construction programme which will create hundreds of new homes and offices. Together with the redevelopment work currently underway at London Bridge station, the scheme will help to reshape South East London and make the overland connection to London Bridge Station even more important.
